The Befriending Service provides support and companionship to lonely, or socially isolated individuals in the the East Dunbartonshire area. It matches clients with trained and vetted volunteers. It delivers befriending on a one to one basis, through group activities and by telephone. The walks would be part of the befriending experience and therefore would be open only to members and volunteers within the service.
